DCO Energy, LLC operates a Dairy RNG plant in Ellington, CT. The Plant Operator will monitor anaerobic digesters and gas upgrading equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and environmental compliance at the site. Expect on-call rotations and potential weekend hours to maximize production and reliability.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLC systems, recording process data, and coordinating with farm staff to maintain plant performance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years in industrial operations or high-pressure gas processing.
• Knowledge of gas flow and instrumentation (4-20mA signals).
• Experience with PLC systems and basic electrical/mechanical repair.
• Ability to work in varied weather, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders.
• Valid driver's license and on-call rotations including weekends/holidays.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and adjust dairy-based anaerobic digesters and gas processing equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols.
• Respond to plant alarms, troubleshoot PLC systems, and rectify equipment malfunctions.
• Record and analyze operational data (pressure, temperature, gas composition) to optimize performance.
• Maintain site cleanliness and interact with farm staff.
