Fayette County Hospital is seeking an RNFA or CNOR RN to support surgical teams in the operating room. The role includes scrubbing, circulating, and assisting with both emergency and elective procedures, with emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

Typical hours start as early as 6:00am, Monday to Friday, at 35–40 hours per week. Pay starts at $45.36 per hour, with higher rates based on experience and credentials.

Qualifikationen

• ADN required
• ACLS within 90 days of hire
• BLS/CPR within 90 days of hire
• CRNFA - Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant or COMpletion of Accredited Program

Aufgaben

• Applies principles of disinfection and sterilization.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic aseptic techniques.
• Assists in positioning, skin prep, and draping of the patient.
• Assists with case turnover and clean-up.
• Verifies operative procedures and patient safety.
• Plans and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Delivers specimens and implants as needed.
• Assists with hemostasis, wound exposure, and tissue handling.
• Maintains competencies for the first assistant role.
• Takes call as scheduled.
• Teaches to promote health and safe environment.
