Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (required).
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program with didactic and clinical components (required).
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience (required).
• 3 years minimum as RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR (required).
• Georgia RN licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure (required).
• CNOR (required if applicable).
• CRNFA (required).
• BCLS (required).
• ACLS (required).
• PALS (required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative services.
• Serve as RN first assistant during operative procedures and perioperative continuum.
• Act as RN circulator when needed to ensure safe patient care.
