Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a process development scientist to join the messenger-RNA (mRNA) process development team. The successful candidate will contribute to early and operational tech development.

In this role, you will be responsible for production and analysis of RNA constructs and carrying out preparative and purification chromatography. You will perform IVT and purification experiments, use CGE, HPLC, ELISA, and maintain an updated lab notebook while upholding

Qualifications

• Experience with molecular biology and RNA biochemistry methods including IVT.
• Experience with tangential flow filtration (TFF), capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE), Akta chromatography, HPLC, and ELISA.
• Experience with good documentation practices and electronic lab notebooks such as Benchling.
• Unwavering commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, data analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Perform in vitro transcription (IVT) and purification experiments.
• Perform analytical methods including CGE, Akta chromatography, HPLC, and ELISA.
• Process data and provide data summaries to team members and stakeholders.
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and stock solutions following SOPs.
• Maintain an updated lab notebook, order materials, maintain equipment, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Uphold lab safety to the highest level of standards.
