Job summary

DCYF seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing services at Harbor Heights Juvenile Rehabilitation facility in Aberdeen, WA. You will manage emergency medical situations, administer medications, and coordinate care for youth under court commitment.

Ideal candidates will have WA RN licensure, nursing education, and at least 1 year of nursing experience (3 years if using a combined education/experience path). On-call shifts and various hours are expected.

Qualifications

• > Must hold a valid Washington State nursing license.
• + Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing; 1 year of nursing experience or 3 years total education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive professional nursing services including assessment, evaluation, and interventions for medical/psychiatric conditions.
• Perform intake medical screening, infection control, and health programs.
• Educate youth, families, and staff on medical and mental health care.
