Job summary

CommuniCare, located in Point Pleasant, WV, is searching for a dedicated RN Wound/Treatment Nurse to make a significant impact on patient care. In this role, you will perform vital nursing functions including wound care, treatment administration, and direct patient support.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current license as an RN in the state where the center is located.
• Wound Certification preferred.
• Current CPR certification required, ACLS preferred.
• Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Prior experience in treatment nursing care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform all treatments, dressing changes on residents.
• Perform routine monthly replacements of gastric tubes and Foley catheters.
• Perform trach care and suctioning.
• Recommend treatment procedures to attending physicians.
• Re-order treatment supplies from pharmacy as needed.
