Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide specialized wound care for patients with acute and chronic wounds in Colorado. You will assess, plan, implement treatments, monitor healing, and work closely with physicians and the healthcare team to support patient outcomes.

This role emphasizes thorough wound assessment, dressing changes, and patient and family education on skin care and prevention.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Wound care certification (WCC, CWCN, CWOCN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document wound type, location, size, drainage, tissue condition, and healing progress.
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on patient needs.
• Perform wound treatments, dressing changes, and other prescribed therapies.
• Monitor patients for infection, skin breakdown, and other wound-related complications.
• Educate patients and families on wound care, skin protection, nutrition, and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
