Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Specialist to coordinate wound care therapy within the nursing plan and lead patient education in a fast-paced Colorado hospital setting. You will work with the care team to uphold nursing standards and deliver high-quality wound care across shifts.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active Colorado RN license, current CPR certification, and at least two years of direct

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN license in the state.
• CPR certification must be current.
• Wound care certification is preferred but not required.
• Two years of direct patient care experience required.
• Experience in emergency, critical care, or ET nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate wound care therapy within the total nursing plan.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by collaborating with the care team and ancillary staff.
• Maintain professional nursing standards in the clinical setting.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
