Job summary

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an RN Wound Care Nurse to join our team. You will document wounds weekly and administer wound care per shift, while collaborating with physicians to assess residents.

The ideal candidate holds a valid RN license and CPR certification, with wound care certification preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential, and LTC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Active CPR certificate.

• Experience in LTC preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Document wounds weekly in nurse's notes.
• Administer wound care treatments per shift and ensure coverage.
• Evaluate high risk patients for pressure reduction interventions.
• Conduct body assessments and document new admissions per policy.
• Round with doctors weekly to assist with resident assessments.
