Job Summary:

The Wound Care Nurse (WCN) provides specialized care for residents with acute and chronic wounds, including assessments, treatments, and monitoring. The WCN collaborates with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring optimal wound healing and prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wound Care:Perform assessments, select appropriate treatments, and monitor wound healing progress.

• Documentation:Maintain accurate records of treatments, assessments, and progress in EHR systems.

Qualifications:

• Education:RN license in Florida, Wound Care Certification (WCC) or similar preferred.

• Experience:Minimum 1 years of nursing experience, with a focus on wound care.

• Skills:Strong knowledge of wound care, critical thinking, and communication skills. Proficiency with EHR systems.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physical tasks (e.g., lifting, bending) and work with residents.
