Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a registered nurse to coordinate wound care therapy within the overall nursing plan in a clinical setting. You will lead care teams, educate patients and families, and uphold professional standards of wound care.

You will report to the Director of Wound Care and participate in ongoing quality improvement while maintaining CPR certification and RN licensure in the state.

Qualifications

• RN license current in the state of employment.
• CPR certification maintained.
• Two years direct patient care experience required.
• Emergency or critical care experience preferred.
• Wound care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate wound care therapy within the total nursing care plan.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with nursing and patient team members.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
• Report to the Director of Wound Care and perform related duties as requested.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nursing License for the state in which the employee is working
• Current CPR certification and maintenance of certification
• Two (2) years direct patient care experience required
• Experience in emergency care, critical care or ET nursing preferred
• Certification from an approved Wound Care Certification course preferred
