Job description

RN Wound Care Nurse

The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a RN Wound Care Nurse to join our team.

RN Wound Care Nurse Duties Include:

• Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of wounds in the nurse's notes at least weekly.
• Responsible for all treatments required by licensed nurse on your shift and ensuring the wound care treatments are carried out at other times.
• Evaluate high risk patients for pressure reduction interventions methods.
• Conduct body assessments and documentation on all new admissions per policy.
• Round with doctors weekly to assist with assessing residents.

RN Wound Care Nurse Requirements/Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN (Registered Nurse) license.
• Active CPR Certificate.
• Point Click a Plus.
• Wound care certification desired.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in LTC preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and a team player.

Salary: Up to $100,000 a year (Based on experience).
