Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses in Frederick, Maryland is seeking a Hyperbaric Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment. You will provide specialized HBOT care and function as a Wound Clinician with the medical team, prioritizing safety and protocol adherence.

You will operate hyperbaric equipment, perform chamber maintenance, participate in emergency drills, and deliver preventive wound care while following UHMS guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Hyperbaric Clinician.
  • Active MD or compact license required at time of submission.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required.
  • CHT or CHRN preferred.
  • Completion of a UHMS-approved 40-hour Hyperbaric Treatment training.

Responsibilities

  • Operate hyperbaric treatment equipment according to training and protocols.
  • Perform routine cleansing and maintenance of hyperbaric chambers and ancillary equipment.
  • Participate in emergency procedures and drills.
  • Provide preventive and supportive wound care to patients.
  • Ensure compliance with Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) guidelines.

Job Description

Join our team as a Hyperbaric Registered Nurse, responsible for providing specialized care to patients requiring hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBOT). In this role, you will also function as a Wound Clinician, providing individualized wound care in collaboration with medical staff. Your dedication to safety and adherence to established guidelines will ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
