Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in wound care for a 13-week assignment in Crescent City, CA. You will assess, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for wound-related conditions, and educate patients and families.

The role requires at least 2 years of RN experience, California RN license, BLS, WCC (WOCN preferred). Must have EPIC charting experience and prior charge nurse responsibilities in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

Description:Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care.Includes direct patient skin and wound management, patient/family education, and transitions of care.Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area.Develops, implements, and manages an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care.Incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers.Ensures timely and effective communications.Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations and codes.Promotes a quality, highly reliable patient experience.Engages in continuous growth and development in professional nursing practice.Acuity is one patient every 30 minutes, with approximately 8-10 patients daily.
