Job summary

Mount Carmel seeks a Workplace Health Specialist RN to serve as a liaison between Mount Carmel and area employers. You will promote employer-sponsored wellness programs, develop educational materials, and staff on-site wellness events. The role may coordinate on-site events as needed and requires an active RN license in Ohio.

The position is casual/PRN with morning to early afternoon hours, emphasizing wellness and preventive care in diverse workplace settings.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in a clinical setting with wellness/health prevention experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Develops and maintains good interpersonal relationships with employers, employees and community representatives.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Maintains a professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to work early mornings or later evenings as required by employer contracts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Mount Carmel and area employers to promote employer-sponsored wellness programs.
• Develop, deliver and coordinate on-site wellness programming and educational materials.
• Staff on-site wellness events and participate in programs as requested by employers.
• Coordinate on-site events and act as event coordinator when needed.
