Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Workplace Health Nutrition Specialist (Part-time) to design and deliver employer-sponsored wellness programs at client sites in Columbus. You will conduct screenings, provide nutrition coaching, and help coordinate on-site events with minimal supervision.

The role emphasizes collaboration with employers, health education, and program development, with strong opportunities for leadership and growth in a busy worksite setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related health field.
• Registered Dietitian, licensed.
• 5+ years of hands-on patient care and wellness counseling; 3-5 years managerial experience preferred.
• Comfortable using technology and public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Employers to deliver wellness programs and on-site services.
• Provide dietary and nutritional consulting and education.
• Coordinate health fairs and on-site events; manage staffing and supplies.
• Screenings such as cholesterol, glucose, bone density, and other tests.
• Communicate results, risks, and referrals to participants.
• Ensure quality control for program equipment.
• Collaborate with Employer Relations and Workplace Health staff.
