Job summary

Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS, part of ScionHealth, seeks an experienced RN for Women’s Services to provide antepartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care within a mother-baby model.

You will perform assessments, develop care plans, monitor maternal and newborn health, administer medications, educate families, and support discharge planning with the interdisciplinary team in a high‑quality community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN with state licensure required.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience in obstetric, postpartum, or related nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform admission and ongoing assessments for antepartum, postpartum, and gynecologic patients.
• Develop and evaluate individualized nursing care plans with patients and interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects; manage high‑alert medications.
• Provide newborn care within mother‑baby model and ensure infant safety.
• Educate patients and families on recovery, medications, and discharge planning.
