Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Women & Infants Float Pool supporting Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Postpartum, Mother/Baby, and Newborn care units. You will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, family-centered care.

Minimum qualifications include an accredited nursing program degree and an Ohio RN license.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program.
• Current Ohio RN license (or interim permit) and ability to obtain licensure.
• 2 years of experience in relevant care setting preferred.
• Proficient computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to women and infants across Labor & Delivery and related units.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate patient care.
• Supervise and delegate nursing care to other team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and safety.
