Summary of Job Duties: Shift: Mon - Fri; 8am to 4:30pm

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care, coordinate care, triage patients, and collaborate with providers, fellows, and staff. The RN will analyze patient assessments and data to identify needs and develop the Plan of Care, prioritizing multiple diagnoses and medical problems.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (Associate's, Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's)
  • Valid RN License
  • Minimum of 1 year RN experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of RN experience
  • BLS certification

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and document patient data per standards
  • Develop and evaluate patient Plans of Care
  • Administer medications according to standards and regulations
  • Ensure care quality and compliance
  • Incorporate current evidence into practice
  • Support educational environment for staff and students
  • Provide patient and family education and discharge planning
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
  • Document care appropriately
  • Report variances and participate in staff recruitment and retention
  • Develop evidence-based nursing standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
