In depth knowledge of aseptic techniques, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative procedures. Administrative and teaching responsibilities to be performed as necessary, including inventory, instrument set ups and chart reviews. Strong critical thinking, problem solving and time management skills. Implement appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis, relevant to an operating room arena, MPU and procedural areas. Inherent duties includes, but not limited to, proper care of instrumentation and equipment, utilization of all safety measures and accurate completion of documentation.
