Job summary

Monarch Communities in Jackson, NJ seeks an Assistant Wellness Director (RN) to lead and manage corporate wellness programs and initiatives. The role partners with the Wellness Director to promote employee health, design educational activities, and ensure compliant operations.

The ideal candidate has a health sciences degree, an RN license, 3–5 years in wellness management, and strong data and budgeting skills. Flexible hours may be required for events and screenings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Exercise Science, Public Health, or related field.
• RN license/certification valid in a state (Massachusetts listed in ad).
• 3–5 years of experience in wellness program management or related field.
• Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP) or similar certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of health promotion strategies and corporate wellness trends.
• Strong program management and organizational skills; able to lead teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; data analysis ability.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management; HIPAA familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and executing wellness initiatives and health education programs.
• Collaborate with department heads to integrate wellness across the organization.
• Oversee wellness facilities operations and staff.
• Develop and manage wellness program budgets and track ROI.
• Analyze program data, prepare reports on participation and outcomes.
• Coordinate health screenings, wellness challenges, and workshops.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
• Support development of marketing materials for wellness programs.
• Provide coaching and support to employees on health topics.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in activities.
