Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Cleveland, OH, seeks an RN Weekender Flex for the Neuro Pre/Post team. You will provide direct nursing care on a 36-bed unit, from patient introduction to discharge, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a state-of-the-art Neuro building.

The role features a two weekend night schedule plus one weekday day shift, with 44 paid hours and full-time benefits. Ongoing education and professional development are encouraged within a comprehensive safety-focused

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within one year of employment or upon hire.
• One year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.
• Preferred BSN.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.
• Evaluate and revise plans of care to meet outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with culturally appropriate materials.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocol.
