Job summary

Glenview Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in North Richland Hills, Texas, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time position with double weekend shifts to lead resident care. The RN is responsible for developing the plan of care, coordinating with physicians, therapists and nursing assistants, and supervising staff to maintain a safe, compliant environment for residents.

LVN experience may be considered in lieu of RN certification; BLS/CPR certification is required, and the facility offers

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved RN program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication or any change in patient condition
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Education

Registered Nurse licensure in state of practice

Your Job Summary

The RN will also monitor assigned staff to ensure that all safety regulations are upheld. We will also consider LVN's with experience in lieu of RN certification.

QUALIFICATIONS
