Job summary

Village Creek Wellness & Rehabilitation in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time weekend shifts. You will render basic care, develop the plan of care, and collaborate with physicians, therapists and nursing staff to ensure resident safety and high-quality care.

Ideal candidates have graduated from an approved RN program and hold state licensure, with at least 2 years in a Skilled Nursing Facility and current BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Registered Nurse program and current state licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required by state.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper resident care in a clean, safe environment.
• Make nursing diagnoses to guide care plans.
• Collaborate with residents and health-care team.
• Record medication administration or changes in patient condition.
• Monitor staff to uphold safety regulations and procedures.
• Follow procedures for nursing equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Registered Nurse (RN) will render basic care and direct nursing staff. The RN is expected to develop the plan of care and collaborate with physicians, therapists and nursing assistants. The RN will also monitor assigned staff to ensure that all safety regulations are upheld. Your Qualifications

• Makes Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state of practice.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication or any change in patient condition
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed
• Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state.)
