Job summary

Grants Wellness & Rehabilitation in Grants, NM seeks an experienced registered nurse supervisor to provide nursing care within scope of practice, follow physician orders, and ensure patient needs are met in line with standards and local guidelines.

You will apply infection control policies, participate in quality improvement, use the Quality Life Manual for patient placement, communicate changes to other departments, and educate families and patients to support safe, quality care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state.
• Prior nursing management experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Notifies other departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.

Objective

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.

Principal Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.
• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.
• Conducts family and patient education.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN in state
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred.
