Glenwood Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking a RN Weekend Supervisor to lead weekend nursing operations and provide compassionate, patient-centered care. You will guide licensed nurses, ensure policy adherence, and support residents and families with clear communication.

The role emphasizes leadership, organizational skills, and empathy within a long-term care setting. This on-site position offers benefits and opportunities for career growth within the facility.

A Weekend Supervisor needs exceptional leadership skills and organizational skills to manage nursing operations effectively. They must have great interpersonal communication, a strong sense of empathy, and well developed long-term care understanding.

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Ensure nursing operational standards are met.
• Ensure all nurses follow policies and procedures.
• Train new team members and evaluate nurses’ performance.
• Inform family members about medical procedures and doctors’ instructions.
• Handle complaints or other issues.
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to residents, family and friends.

Required Experience and Education

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Up to date First Aid and CPR certification.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• One (1) or more years of experience in Long Term Care environment preferred.
