Job summary

Glenwood Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking a RN Weekend Supervisor to provide leadership for nursing operations and to ensure high-quality care during weekend shifts. The role emphasizes strong organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate nursing teams and uphold standards.

Ideal candidates will hold an Oklahoma RN license and current First Aid/CPR certifications, with supervisory experience and 1+ year in long-term care preferred.

A Weekend Supervisor needs exceptional leadership skills and organizational skills to manage nursing operations effectively. They must have great interpersonal communication, a strong sense of empathy, and well developed long-term care understanding.

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Ensure nursing operational standards are met.
• Ensure all nurses follow policies and procedures.
• Train new team members and evaluate nurses’ performance.
• Inform family members about medical procedures and doctors’ instructions.
• Handle complaints or other issues.
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to residents, family and friends.

Required Experience and Education

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Up to date First Aid and CPR certification.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• One (1) or more years of experience in Long Term Care environment preferred.
