Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient-focused care within the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework, following the nursing process to ensure quality outcomes. You will maintain patient confidentiality and rights while coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams across departments.

The role requires an active RN license in Missouri or a compact state, with Basic Life Support certification due within 30 days of hire and various clinical certifications as specified by the unit.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Position Details:

• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules
• C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
• Other unit-specific certifications as required.

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
