Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care within the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework. You will be accountable for nursing care and coordinate patient care with other departments, while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license and nursing degree, with required BLS and unit-specific certifications as applicable, and meet physical demands of the role during shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or course within 30 days of hire.
• One or more of the listed certifications may be required based on position/unit.
• Position requires ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting 50 lbs and prolonged standing.

Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details:

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
