Job summary

Complete Care at Fox Hill in Vernon, CT is seeking an RN Nursing Supervisor for weekend shifts. You will directly supervise the nursing staff on the assigned weekend shifts, monitor medication distribution, and conduct nursing rounds across units.

The role requires an active CT RN license and long-term care experience; supervisory experience is preferred. You will educate staff and residents’ families, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the Assistant Director of Nursing as needed.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Connecticut.
• Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Long-term care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise nursing staff on assigned shift; monitor medications, blood draws, and patient care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times per shift.
• Provide education to staff, residents, and families as needed.
• Ensure staff duties comply with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN Registered Nurse license in the state of Connecticut.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Previous long-term care experience required.
