Job summary

Complete Care at Fox Hill in Vernon, CT is seeking a Weekend RN Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff on weekend shifts and ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires an active CT RN license and prior long-term care experience.

You will supervise medication distribution, perform rounds, educate staff and residents' families as needed, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines, all on-site.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Connecticut.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Long-term care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on assigned weekend shifts and monitor medication administration and patient care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on units multiple times per shift.
• Provide education to staff, residents, and residents' family members as needed.
• Ensure staff comply with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Nursing leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator
