Raleigh Court Health & Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, VA is seeking an RN House Supervisor for our 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. The Day shift RN House Supervisor oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence and coordinates patient care rounds.

Qualified candidates must be a licensed RN with a minimum of 3 years in nursing, including acute care; experience in admissions, transfers and discharges is a plus; we offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing department in the DON’s absence on the day shift.

• Supervise and evaluate evening and night shift staff.

The Day shift RN House Supervisor oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence. The House Supervisor reviews staffing at the change of a shift and assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs. Completes patient care rounds. Coordinates admissions, transfers and /or discharges and ensures appropriate documentation. Assists in orientation of evening and night shift employees. Supervises and evaluates evening and night shift employees.

Qualified candidates will be a licensed RN and have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse as well as experience in acute setting.
