Job summary

Raleigh Court Health & Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke is seeking an RN House Supervisor for our 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. The Day shift supervisor will oversee the nursing department in the DON’s absence and coordinate staffing, admissions, and patient care rounds.

Qualified candidates will be licensed RNs with a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, including acute care exposure. Benefits include health, dental, vision and life insurance, PTO, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in an acute setting.
• Experience as a nurse with leadership responsibilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing department in the DON’s absence.
• Review staffing at shift change and assign/replace staff as needed.
• Complete patient care rounds and coordinate admissions/transfers/discharges.
• Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in orientation of evening and night shift staff.
• Supervise and evaluate evening and night shift staff.

The Day shift RN House Supervisor oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence. The House Supervisor reviews staffing at the change of a shift and assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs. Completes patient care rounds. Coordinates admissions, transfers and /or discharges and ensures appropriate documentation. Assists in orientation of evening and night shift employees. Supervises and evaluates evening and night shift employees.

Qualified candidates will be a licensed RN and have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse as well as experience in acute setting.
