Job summary

Pulaski Health & Rehabilitation Center in Pulaski, VA is seeking an RN House Supervisor for the 3p-11p shift to support our 102-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. The RN will supervise nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and coordinate daily operations.

Qualified candidates are licensed RNs with a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, including an acute care background. Responsibilities include staffing oversight, patient rounds, admissions/discharges, and weekend

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with at least 3 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing department in DON's absence.
• Review staffing at shift change and assign/replace staff to meet patient needs.
• Complete patient care rounds and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Assist in orientation of weekend staff and supervise weekend employees.

Nursing is what we do! Pulaski Health & Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking an RN House Supervisor - 3p-11p, for our 102 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Pulaski.

The RN House Supervisor oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence. The House Supervisor reviews staffing at the change of a shift and assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs. Completes patient care rounds. Coordinates admissions, transfers and /or discharges and ensures appropriate documentation. Assists in orientation of weekend employees. Supervises and evaluates weekend employees.

Qualified candidates will be a licensed RN and have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse as well as experience in acute setting.
