Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Carolinas Medical Center Bed Tower Emergency Department in Charlotte, NC. The role supports high-acuity patient care in a state-of-the-art Trauma Center environment and contributes to establishing new care standards aboard a major expansion.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited nursing program, at least 6 months of RN experience, an active RN license in the state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience; this position is not for new grads.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
