Job summary

CommCare Corporation in Jackson, MS is seeking an RN to lead the Nursing Department at ManhattanCommunity Care Center, working every other weekend. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and collaborate with a dedicated team to support clinical leadership.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Mississippi, demonstrates strong leadership, and is able to work weekends. Long-term care experience is preferred, with adherence to Medicare/Medicaid program

Qualifications

• RN license (Mississippi) required or eligible for licensure
• Demonstrates leadership and can organize, plan and supervise the Nursing Department
• Ability to adhere to the departmental budget
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
• Experience in long-term care is preferred
• Pre-employment and annual TB screening is required

• Lead the Nursing Department in coordination with resident services
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, practices, and direction from Nursing leadership
• Evaluate geriatric residents' needs and implement systems

Essential Qualifications:

• Demonstrates leadership and can organize, plan and supervise the Nursing Department in coordination with other resident services.
• Demonstrates the ability to adhere to departmental budget.
• Maintains effective interpersonal relationships.
• Implement changes as determined by the Nursing Director.
• Must demonstrate ability to follow policies, procedures, practices, and direction without the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing.
• Must demonstrate ability to evaluate the geriatric resident's needs and implement systems.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Current Mississippi Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Other Qualifications

• Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
• Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
• Participate in pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening.
