Job summary
Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced RN Vent Unit Manager to lead our specialized Ventilator Unit. You will oversee daily clinical operations, promote quality resident care, and develop a skilled nursing team in a supportive, team-focused environment.
The ideal candidate has an active NC RN license and at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a respiratory care setting. This full-time, day-shift role offers a sign-on bonus, competitive pay, and growth
Qualifications
- Must have active, unrestricted NC RN license or eligible (compact).
- Minimum 2 years nursing supervisory/leadership experience.
- Ventilator care experience required.
- Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily clinical operations of the Ventilator Unit.
- Supervise and develop nursing staff to ensure clinical excellence.
- Collaborate with DON, physicians, and respiratory therapists.
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Maintain CMS/state regulations and regulatory compliance.
