Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Pediatric IV Therapy Registered Nurse for the IV Therapy Vascular Access Team in the Boston area. The role focuses on ultrasound-guided peripheral venous access and vascular access troubleshooting across pediatric patients.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of RN experience, a valid RN license, BLS certification, and proven skills in ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder use. Shifts include day and mid with weekends required in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound-guided peripheral venous access and troubleshooting.

• Work rotating day and night shifts with weekend coverage (3 out of 6).
• Collaborate on vascular access with IV therapy team in an acute care setting.

Description:We are seeking a Pediatric IV Therapy Registered Nurse to join our IV Therapy Vascular Access Team.The Nurse will be responsible for ultrasound-guided peripheral venous access and vascular access troubleshooting.Experience in obtaining intravenous access in pediatric patients is essential.Candidates must be skilled at site assessment and selection for IV placement.The position requires rotating shifts between day and night hours.Weekend work is required, with a commitment to cover 3 out of 6 weekends.The facility is an acute care facility recognized for its excellence.Nurses should be prepared to handle a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and pediatrics.We value quick and efficient IV insertion skills.The nurse will monitor IVs and make recommendations on appropriate IV types to be used.This role will utilize specialized equipment for the majority of IV insertions.
