Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or a compact state.
• Two years of experience working as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses admissions, continued stay and discharge reviews for medical necessity and appropriate level of care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure timely documentation and care coordination.
• Manages data entry and communicates with physician advisor to resolve barriers.
• Guides documentation quality and supports care transitions and appropriate reimbursement.
