Job summary

One Vision International is seeking a registered nurse to provide nursing support for utilization management in a military healthcare setting in Hampton, VA. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a 12-month duration and extension options up to five years.

You will collaborate with healthcare personnel to support patient care, coordinate referrals, maintain documentation, and ensure patient safety while following DoD and DHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required and active.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Experience in utilization management or utilization review.
• Experience in care coordination, referral management, or clinical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support for utilization management activities in a military healthcare setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare personnel and facilities to support patient care.
• Assist with coordinating referral appointments and healthcare services.
• Serve as a point of contact between healthcare staff and beneficiaries regarding plans and benefits.
• Support patient and family education as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation.
• Work with the healthcare team to facilitate patient care and services.
• Follow DoD, DHA, and facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
• Complete required agency and facility-specific training and comply with policies.
