Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks an RN to plan, deliver, and evaluate direct patient care using the nursing process. The role is based in Urogynecology, with a day shift and 40-hour weekly schedule.

Requires Massachusetts RN licensure, completion of an accredited nursing program, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications are preferred. A signing bonus may be available; compensation is aligned with experience.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
• Completion of an accredited school of nursing program.
• Current Massachusetts licensure and registration.
• BLS is required unless an advance certification is current (ACLS, PALS, NRP).

Responsibilities

• Assesses and supervises patient care following standard procedure.
• Reviews chart documentation as required or directed.
• Establishes recall system for physical examinations and related results.
• Coordinates patient flow and prepares patient for examination.
• Triages medical calls and provides patient education.
