Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking an experienced Urgent Care RN at the Somerville campus to deliver high-quality patient care during day and evening shifts. You will apply the nursing process to assess urgent concerns and coordinate timely interventions with the care team.

Requirements include MA RN licensure, BSN preferred, BLS through American Heart Association, and 1–2 years of ED/urgent care nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Massachusetts RN licensure is required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years of ED/Urgent Care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for urgent needs using the nursing process.
• Assess patients and triage with the urgent care team; document and coordinate care.
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff to deliver timely interventions.

Experienced Urgent Care RNs may be eligible for up to $20,000 in bonuses!! Pro-rated for part-time.

The Urgent Care Nurse (RN)in partnership and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, addresses patients' wellness and urgent illnesses. Urgent care nurses use the nursing process to perform a problem-focused assessment of the patient's primary concerns in the Urgent Care. Practice is commensurate with the standards of the Massachusetts State Nursing Act and CHA's delineated RN role, responsibilities and competencies.

Qualifications/Experience:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred

MA RN Licensure

American Heart Association BLS required

2 years current nursing experience required.

1 year current Emergency Department/Urgent Care experience required.

Recent IV/ phlebotomy skills required.
