Job summary

THE FORUM is seeking an RN Unit Supervisor for a part-time role in California. The RN will oversee nursing care on their shift, administer medications, manage documentation, and respond to emergencies. Competitive compensation and full benefits accompany the position.

Responsibilities include supervising direct care, leading admissions and transfers, coordinating with staff, and ensuring regulatory readiness. Requires active CA RN license and BLS CPR; wound certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in long-term care preferred.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Wound certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on shift.
• Administers medications, treatments, and ADL care.
• Leads admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Leads daily clinical huddles with floor staff.
• Assigns CNA staff to shift assignments.
• Maintains medication dispensing and nursing documentation.
• Assists with state and federal regulatory survey prep.
• Gives and receives shift reports and rounds to ensure safe care.
