Job summary

Windsor Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Windsor, NC is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee nursing care on the shift, ensuring timely medication administration, treatments, and documentation. You will supervise staff, safeguard resident health and welfare, and ensure compliance with laws and policies.

Responsibilities include supervising CNAs, giving shift reports, rounds, care plan development, and accurate record-keeping while maintaining confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing is required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• CPR certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to residents with dignity and rights.
• Supervises CNAs and subordinate staff, ensuring assignments are completed.
• Oversees direct care of residents and nursing personnel on shift.
• Gives and receives shift reports.
• Rounds the unit to ensure safe, clean care environment.
• Keeps physicians and families informed of resident condition changes.
• Assists in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Completes medical records per policy with confidentiality.
• Maintains infection control and safety precautions during tasks.
• Ensures resident comfort, privacy, and respectful interactions.
• Responds promptly to call lights.
• Assists with admissions, readmissions, and transfers.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Attends departmental meetings and trainings.
