Job summary

This position reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and supports hospital leadership in planning and delivering efficient, high-quality services.

Qualifications

• California Registered Nurse License
• Certification in clinical specialty or management desired
• Surgery: BLS, ACLS
• PACU/SDS/GI Lab: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• ED: BLS, ACLS, PALS, AB508 (within 30 days)
• Geropsych: BLS, AB508 (within 30 days)
• ICU/ 5S, 4th Telemetry, 5 North, 6th Med Surg and Float Pool: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (within 30 days)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP must be AHA certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day unit operations and staffing to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Support the Chief Nursing Officer and department leadership in planning and delivering services
• Lead staff development, quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration with other departments
