Qualifications

• 1-2 years of nursing leadership or clinical experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care.
• Knowledge of infection control, safety standards, and quality improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and supports nursing and support staff, delegating tasks to appropriate personnel.
• Evaluates staff performance, providing feedback and coaching to maintain high standards of care.
• Oversees assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and resolve flow/care delivery issues.
• Ensures effective communication among physicians, patients, families, and hospital departments, including shift handoffs and unit huddles.
• Monitors patient flow, bed assignments, and resource utilization within the unit.
• Conducts rounding to evaluate care delivery and satisfaction.
• Ensures adherence to safety standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and audits to improve outcomes and compliance.
• Maintains adequate supplies and cost-effective resource management, and supports staff education and training.
