Job summary

Berlin Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager for the Subacute Unit. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm and offers competitive pay and Same Day Pay options. Salary range is $79k–$100k per year.

The Unit Manager will lead nursing operations, ensure high-quality resident care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident-centred care. The role requires current NJ RN licensure, a BLS CPR certification, and a nursing degree.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently licensed RN in New Jersey.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
