Job summary

Walnut Creek Nursing and Rehab in Erie, Pennsylvania is seeking a dedicated Unit Manager (RN) to oversee daily operations of our 115-bed skilled nursing facility. The RN Unit Manager will lead nursing staff, ensure quality resident care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's degree in Nursing, current PA RN license, and at least 2 years of RN experience with 1+ year in management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 2+ years as an RN, with at least 1 year in a management role.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the 115-bed skilled nursing facility.
• Develop and implement unit policies and procedures with leadership.
• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, providing guidance and mentoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
• Conduct daily rounds to monitor resident care and address concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of resident care and staff performance.
