Job summary

Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center in Miami, Florida seeks an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee the skilled nursing unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and a positive work environment.

The role reports to medical leadership, requires Florida RN licensure and 2–3 years in rehab settings, and offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a $90,000 annual salary.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong leadership with staff supervision experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the skilled nursing unit, including staff supervision, patient care coordination, and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and other department leaders to develop and implement unit goals and objectives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA and Joint Commission standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes
• Provide professional guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, including orientation and training programs
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork among staff members
