Job summary

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial seeks an experienced nursing leader to supervise a defined unit, coordinate daily operations, and partner with physicians and staff to deliver safe, high-quality care. The position requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with Master’s preferred, and prior acute care and leadership experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing required.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Two years' experience of acute care nursing in hospital setting preferred.
  • One year's leadership experience preferred.
  • Five years' technical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Builds a high performing clinical work team by recruiting and retaining skilled professional staff and coaches personnel as needed.
  • Sets goals for patient safety, quality of care and regulatory compliance and analyzes data to improve outcomes.
  • Conducts daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care and revise care plans.
  • Manages unit staffing, overtime approvals, and monthly scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Facilitates throughput and discharge planning to maintain safe and efficient operations.
